Casaba melons are egg-shaped to round and pointed on the stem end. When ripe, they have golden yellow skins with green highlights and a thick rind with wrinkles or furrows that run the length of the melon. Casabas have creamy pale green flesh that is mild and sweet with a subtle fragrance.
