A cross between the blackberry and the raspberry, loganberries are a deep red color with a medium-sized seed and a unique, tart flavor. They are longer than raspberries but with similar coloring. Loganberries can be used in jellies, jams, sauces, sorbets, syrups, fruit salads or eaten fresh out of hand. They are typically available from June to August from California and the Pacific Northwest.
