Cherimoya is a subtropical fruit that has juicy, creamy white flesh with large, black seeds. The custard-like texture has a mixed tropical fruit flavor. It is also known as custard apple. It is available from late November through May from South America, Spain, Chile and California, with peak supplies in March and April.
