Slightly larger than a grapefruit, the oro blanco has a thicker rind and is a cross between pummelo and grapefruit. Its skin is green to yellow, with a mostly seedless flesh. It has a juicy, sweet grapefruit flavor without bitterness or acidity. It is available from December to April.
