Elephant Garlic

Elephant Garlic

Commodity Overview

Elephant garlic is actually a type of leek, rather than a type of garlic, but gets its name from the fact that it looks like a giant bulb of garlic. It's about twice the size of a bulb of common garlic but only contains about five cloves. Elephant garlic can sometimes weigh up to a pound per bulb.
