The agency has added new products to the list involved in a recall due to potential E. coli contamination.
The FDA said it identified Grimmway Farms as the supplier of carrots that are involved in an E. coli outbreak and is working to determine the source of the contamination.
The company said the new packaging will be available in Meijer with plans to expand to its organic products next year.
Fresh carrot products will launch under the Bolthouse Fresh consumer brand name, bringing healthy convenience to retail and foodservice customers, the company says.
