Amazon Prime members in Florida get a sneak peek at new promotional pricing at Whole Foods Market Inc.
The company announced May 16 that Amazon Prime members get an additional 10% off sale items, and anticipate rolling out the promotion at stores nationwide this summer.
The program works through scanning the Whole Foods Market app, similar to Target’s Cartwheel promotion, or entering their phone number at point of sale.
The changes come just a month after Whole Foods notified loyalty program members it was cancelling the program as of May 1.
Whole Foods also is expected to start expanding its relationship with Amazon Prime Now for grocery deliveries. So far, the program is available only to select addresses in Cincinnati, Dallas and Austin.
