Whole Foods Market announced the recipients of its highly anticipated Supplier All-Star Awards for 2024.
The 16 brands recognized exemplify excellence through quality, innovation, value, reliability and sustainability, while supporting Whole Foods Market’s purpose to nourish people and the planet, according to a news release.
This year’s recipients represent a diverse array of brands that have left an incredible mark on Whole Foods Market’s aisles, ranging from two- to 30 years on the retailer’s shelves, with a mix of both emerging and established brands. As Whole Foods Market celebrates the 13th anniversary of these awards, it underscores the company’s commitment to recognizing and celebrating outstanding partners, the release said.
“Each of these Supplier All-Stars brings something truly special to our shelves — whether it’s raising the bar on quality, driving innovation or helping deliver more value to our customers,” said Sonya Gafsi Oblisk, chief merchandising and marketing officer for Whole Foods Market. “We are proud to honor these suppliers and their contributions to Whole Foods Market in 2024 and look forward to seeing what’s next for them in the year ahead.”
Elise Smith, marketing manager for Homegrown Organic Farms says the grower is honored to be selected as a 2024 Whole Foods Market Supplier All-Star.
“Each year, Whole Foods Market recognizes a select group of supplier partners who go above and beyond in excellence, innovation and impact. We’re incredibly proud and honored to be among this year’s awardees,” Smith said in an email.
“This recognition holds special meaning for us. Our partnership with Whole Foods Market goes back decades — starting in the 1990s when our founder, John France, would visit their flagship stores with samples of our organic citrus. He wasn’t just sharing fruit — he was sharing a vision for the future of organic agriculture,” Smith said.
“Since those early days, our partnership has grown, rooted in shared values: doing what’s right, caring for people and the planet, and creating opportunity for generations to come,” Smith continued. “We’re deeply grateful for this recognition and excited to continue growing with Whole Foods Market as a purpose-driven partner.”
