Trader Joe's says its complete salad kits and pre-cooked proteins offer busy shoppers a fast and easy meal without compromising on flavor.
The company says the salad kits include everything from fresh greens to toppings and dressings and pair well with Trader Joe's ready-to-eat proteins, creating a simple and satisfying dinner that can be prepared in minutes.
Trader Joe's suggests these pairings:
TJ's Pizza Ranch Salad Kit plus TJ's Uncured Pepperoni
The salad kit contains a base of shredded romaine, red cabbage and carrots, plus packets of pizza-esque toppings like herby flatbread strips, crispy four-cheese crumbles and grated Parmesan, plus a creamy, tangy, tomato-based-pizza-sauce-meets-ranch dressing to tie it all together.
Top it with some sliced Trade Joe's Sliced Uncured Pepperoni for pizza-pairing flavor.
For a tropical option, Trader Joe's Sweet Chili Mango Salad Kit combines cabbage, kale, Brussels sprouts and radicchio with the nuttiness of roasted sunflower seeds and toasted quinoa, and the sweet, chewy fruitiness of dried mango pieces. The kit includes a sweet chili dressing to tie it all together.
Trader Joe's recommends rounding it out with cubes of Trader Joe's Baked Sriracha Flavored Tofu, saying the garlicky sriracha flavor of this marinated, ready-to-eat tofu plays beautifully with the other elements of the salad, and heat-seekers will certainly appreciate its added chili kick.
TJ's BBQ & Black Pepper Toscano Chopped Salad Kit offers a mix of cabbage, carrots, broccoli and kale, a packet of miniature cornbread croutons, and its very own Black Pepper Toscano cheese.
The company says adding Trader Joe's Hardwood Smoked Pulled Chicken elevates the salad to a smoky, protein-packed meal.
