Tasteful Selections launches second phase of Fresh campaign

Tasteful Selections, a specialty potato brand exclusively marketed by Bancroft, Wis.-based RPE Inc., will launch the second quarter of its yearlong Fresh campaign on April 1.

Tasteful Selections LLC is a joint venture of RPE, CSS Farms and Plover River Farms Alliance Inc.

“Bite-size potatoes are a family favorite, transforming everyday meals and delivering great flavor in a small bite,” Tim Huffcutt, marketing director for RPE, said in a news release.

“We are partnering with distinguished culinary experts to create versatile, inspirational dishes that satisfy a busy head-of-household’s preference for simpler, convenient meals.”

Tasteful Selections will continue its partnership with nutritionist and registered dietitian Cynthia Sass, who will help put together four videos featuring menu suggestions for consumers, according to the release.

Twelve new recipes will be available from Annie Wang of the website Frites and Fries, according to the release, and they will be available in a sharable e-cookbook.

The release said a value-added marketing plan is available for all customers, including pre-filled shippers, social media graphics and content, recipe cards, blog posts from Sass and other multi-media resources.
