The Michigan Asparagus Advisory Board has released its 2023 video series celebrating the flavor and benefits of Michigan asparagus.

Designed to appeal to consumers, these videos champion the distinct taste, freshness, quality, nutritional value and versatility of asparagus grown in the Great Lake State, according to a news release.

Developed in collaboration between Michigan-based asparagus farming families and the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the videos highlight the freshness and unique taste that sets Michigan asparagus apart, according to the release. 

Produce buyers are encouraged to share the videos on social media channels, capitalizing on the passion and expertise of the Michigan family farms featured in the series. By showcasing the distinct flavor and freshness of Michigan asparagus, retailers can engage their audience and drive sales, the release said.
