Are you using Eat Brighter signage in your produce departments?
The promotion, available through an agreement with the Produce Marketing Association, Partnership for a Healthier America and the Sesame Workshop, allows produce brands – and retailers – include Sesame Street character images in their marketing plans. The program initially was scheduled to expire this year, but has been extended to 2021.
Wayfield Foods, an Atlanta-area independent grocer, offers Eat Brighter! signage in its departments. Shopper reaction has been fantastic, they said.
Kids gravitate to produce, said Greg Edenfield, vice president of Wayfield Foods, in the video.
“They’re drawn into the produce department,” Edenfield said. “They want to be where the characters are.”
