Renaissance Food Group, Rancho Cordova, Calif., will feature Garden Highway brand One Pot Kits at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit Oct. 19-20 in Orlando, Fla.
Each kit has fresh vegetables, herbs and other ingredients. Meat/proteins can be added by consumers, according to a news release.
The kits are designed for meals made in instant cookers or slow cookers, and are available in a variety of meals:
- Minestrone Soup Kit
- Spring Stew Kit
- Marinara Kit
- Pot Roast Kit
- White Bean Chili Kit
“Generations from Boomers to Millennials to Gen Z recognize and embrace the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, however have limited time throughout the day to dedicate to preparing and cooking,” James Naaman, senior vice president of national sales for Renaissance Food Group, said in the release.
RFG is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Calavo Growers Inc.
The One Pot Kits will be on display at the RFG/Calavo booth, No. 1543, at Fresh Summit.
