Retail promos planned for National Salad Month

Litehouse Inc., NatureSweet and Fresh Express are joining together to celebrate National Salad Month by offering consumers discounts, recipes and a contest with an exclusive Albertsons promotion.

During the “Raise the Salad Bar” promotion, consumers can purchase two of any Fresh Express Blends, Litehouse dressings and NatureSweet 10.5oz Cherubs Tomatoes for $5 in Albertsons stores nationwide.

The “Raise the Salad Bar” promotion will run May 3-16 and will be supported by several initiatives:

  • Albertsons in-store signage and promotions, including a “two for $5” instant redeemable coupon
  • “Fresh Salads for Mother’s Day Entertaining” satellite media tour hosted by a notable lifestyle expert.
  • Recipe videos highlighting product versatility in three delicious salads.
  • An integrated social campaign and an enter-to-win consumer sweepstakes where 10 consumers will win a year’s worth of salad.

Consumers can mix and match products and add additional ingredients, to create endless salad varieties according to a news release. All three participating brands can be found in the produce department.
