Videos and podcasts will be among the key elements for this year’s Power Your Lunchbox campaign from Produce for Kids.

“We are working with several content creators, including our new Produce for Kids registered dietitian, Sally of RealMomNutrition.com, to host Takeover Tuesdays and Lives on our Instagram throughout August and September, touching on different parenting topics around back-to-school and lunchbox packing,” said Produce for Kids managing director Amanda Keefer.

Poweryourlunchbox.com has been updated to focus on back-to-school content, and the Produce for Kids podcast Healthy Family Project will highlight back-to-school and lunchbox topics.

Produce for Kids has also partnered with author and culinary medicine specialist Jessica DeLuise on a new content series called Food Rx. The monthly series includes Instagram Live videos, podcast episodes and blog posts, according to a news release. The first segment is available now. Produce for Kids currently has more than 60,000 followers on Instagram.

“We recognize there are a lot of questions when it comes to looking to food as medicine and are excited to help answer some of those questions through Food Rx,” Keefer said in the release. “It is our hope that we can gradually incorporate our many health-conscious brand partners into this initiative as a benefit to the health food and fresh produce industry.”

Also on the Produce for Kids Instagram, the organization will be giving away lunchbox items like bento boxes, sandwich cutters and lunchbox accessories every week. Produce for Kids will also be giving away an Echo Show from Poweryourlunchbox.com.
