It's time for another season of our Produce Artist Award Series!
Send us photos of a variety of your great produce displays from this spring, and we'll share your work on our social media. The top merchandiser entry and top produce manager entry will each receive a customized produce apron, hat and produce knife, and best-of-category winners will be featured in our results webinar.
Entries should be submitted to [email protected]. The deadline is June 8.
Categories we want to spotlight this season are berries, sweet corn, Vidalia onions, asparagus and mangoes.
Here's what our selection committee is looking for as they review entries:
- Eye appeal – Does this stop shoppers in their tracks? Is product fresh and inviting?
- Seasonality – Does this display “shout” to the shopper what's in season?
- Creativity – Does this have some innovative elements, from display theme to cross-merchandising to point-of-sale material?
- Ease of restocking – Is this feasible to maintain as customers shop throughout the day?
Need some inspiration? Our most recent merchandiser category winner Brian Dey has written recently on both berry merchandising and asparagus merchandising, and his columns include lots of display photos as examples.
