Prices are low; stocks are plentiful. Quality is very good; sporadic fringe burn and internal burn are present in some lots, but less prevalent than in previous weeks. MFC Premium Romaine Lettuce is available.
The market is low. California apricots will be on the market through August. Nectarines and peaches will be available through mid-September. Sugar levels range from 10 to 12 Brix. The plum harvest will continue through mid-October. Expect sugar levels to range from 12 and 14 Brix. Georgia peaches are also on the
East Coast market.
Overall prices are low, especially for 110- to 175-count sizes. The market for 200- to 250-count fruit is a bit higher. Quality is very good. MFC and ESS Limes are available.
Prices are easing. Domestic growers are moving up the East Coast; Michigan and New Jersey volume is high. Baja production has increased. MFC and ESS Cucumbers are available.
The market is weak. Salinas Valley stocks are ample. The Michigan season is in full swing. Seeder and brown stem are minor issues. MFC Celery is available.
Weak prices persist. Quality is very good; internal and fringe burn are sporadic. MFC Premium Green Leaf Lettuce is available.
The market is low. California's San Joaquin Valley will be the primary growing region through October. Quality is good; sugar levels range from 11 to 13 Brix. MFC Cantaloupes are on the market.
Prices have eased. Harvesting has hit its peak in Central Mexico following several weeks of rain. Baja production will start in August. Peruvian volume is average (into Miami, Fla.). MFC Asparagus is available.
