Markets are expected to remain weak in the coming weeks, pending any significant East Coast lettuce crop loss. Demand is down slightly after strong movement last week; however, order volume continues to trend
above recent weeks. MFC Premium Romaine Lettuce is available.
The California apricot season will run through August. Nectarines and peaches will be on the market through mid-September. Sugar levels range from 10 to 12 Brix. The plum harvest will continue through mid-October. Expect sugar levels to range from 12 and 14 Brix. Georgia peaches are also on the East Coast market.
The market for 110- to 175-count sizes has dipped, but price for 200- to 250-count fruit are inching up as the size curve begins to favor large supplies. MFC and ESS Limes are available.
Prices have dipped. Salinas Valley supplies are abundant. The Michigan season is underway. Seeder and brown stem are occasional problems. MFC Celery is available.
The market is weak; stocks are ample. Quality is very good: browning is minimal. ESS Cauliflower is available.
