Prices are low. Volume is high in Mexico and Texas. Volume is climbing in California but may be affected by the current heat wave. Sugar levels range from 12 to 14 Brix.
The market is weak. Apricot supplies are abundant; the crop is dominated by 72- to 88-count sizes. Nectarines and peaches are plentiful; the season will run through mid-September. Sugar levels typically range from 10 to 12 Brix. Black plums will begin shipping this week and remain available through mid-October. Expect sugar levels to vary between 12 and 14 Brix. California cherries are ample.
The market is weak; stocks are increasing. East Coast growers will transition north to multiple states through the summer. Quality is very good: blemishes are rare. MFC Cucumbers are available.
The market remains low; stocks are ample. Quality is very good: off-color is a minor issue. ESS Cauliflower is available.
The market is weak; demand is moderate. California supplies are ample, but extreme heat may affect growth this week. Mexican-grown stocks are also on the market (loading out of South Texas). Quality is very good: brown bead and hollow core are sporadic issues during the summer months. MFC Broccoli is available.
