MONTEREY, Calif. — The Packer's editor Tom Karst and retail editor Ashley Nickle discuss the 2019 Produce Marketing Association Foodservice Conference and Expo, from trends on the show floor to reviews of the show this year.
Both editors noted fresh-cut products were prevalent, aimed at making life easier for operators in the areas of both labor and food safety. Sliced grapes from HMC Farms and sliced peaches and nectarines from Gerawan were among those offerings.
