Ocean Mist Farms, a grower-shipper of fresh artichokes in North America, has updated its logo as part of the company’s rebranding efforts.
The company, which is celebrating its 100-year anniversary, says the new logo is a refreshed version of its former logo that Ocean Mist Farms started using in 1995 after doing business as California Artichoke & Vegetable Growers Corporation since its founding in 1924.
The new version features the legacy blue color from the former longtime logo and replaces the red with a bright green color signifying fresh, growth, natural and farming, according to a news release. Ocean Mist Farms says the new brand representation better reflects the farm-fresh aspect as a farming company with a full line of fresh vegetable products.
The company says the new logo also reflects its future-forward vision while maintaining a connection to its heritage.
“This refreshed logo is more than just a visual change; it signifies our dedication to representing and evolving the brand to represent our Gold Standard line of vegetable products, our industry leadership, and our exceptional customer service,” Chris Drew, president and CEO of Ocean Mist Farms, said in the release. “We feel this rebranding effort also conveys that we are a forward-thinking company who is continually pioneering solutions in the fresh produce industry.”
Ocean Mist Farms says this initiative kicks off a soft launch rolling out to all of its packaging and packaged products over the next three years. It will also roll out the new logo on its marketing materials and company buildings and equipment in July, the release said.
