This Thanksgiving, Natural Grocers says it is helping families celebrate with a budget-friendly meal plan that’s as healthy as it is delicious, featuring menu options that include plenty of fresh produce and plant-based options.
From reserving a turkey to special holiday savings, plus menus for every diet, the company says customers can cross off their to-do lists while stocking up on high-quality products.
"For my grandmother, gathering with loved ones around a table filled with delicious food was more than just a holiday tradition," said Raquel Isely, vice president of marketing for Natural Grocers and granddaughter of co-founder Margaret Isely, said in a news release. "It was a time to share cherished memories, create new ones and celebrate togetherness through the joy of food. I now realize it's also a moment to express gratitude, both big and all, for the people and moments we treasure.
"At Natural Grocers, this spirit of gratitude is woven into everything we do — including our deep appreciation for our customers and our 'good4u' crew," she continued.
Produce and plant-based holiday offerings
“At Natural Grocers we pride ourselves on offering holiday offerings for every type of diet — including vegan and vegetarian,” said Katie Macarelli, director of public relations for Natural Grocers. “We have some great sales going on and plenty of inspiring recipes and menu ideas for our plant-based customers.”Macarelli said the company knows most customers like to wait as long as they can before purchasing their fresh produce for their favorite holiday dishes.
“All our stores are prepared for this last-minute push. Our 100% certified organic produce really shines during the holidays. The vibrant colors of fall and winter produce add a little sparkle to any cart, basket and then, of course, your table at home. For Thanksgiving, we are running our Thanksgiving sides meal deal promotions (Nov. 1-30),” Macarelli said.
Fresh promotions include:
- Russet potatoes — $1.19 per pound.
- Yellow onions — $1.29 per pound.
- Garnet and jewel yams —$1.79 per pound.
- Celery — $1.19 per pound,
- Loose carrots — $1.29 per pound.
