Morning Kiss Organic says it’s offering a wide selection of organic apples and pears packaged in convenient 2-pound bags — ideal for on-the-go snacking and back-to-school lunches.

This packaging format also integrates into existing Northeast conventional apple programs, allowing retailers to offer a high-quality organic product alongside their conventional fruit offerings, according to the release.

Organic apple varieties include gala, rranny smith, fuji and Honeycrisp, all available in 2-pound bags or bulk cartons. Morning Kiss Organic said the year-round program is supported through partnerships with top growers in Washington, Chile, Argentina and New Zealand. Program and promotional pricing opportunities are available, and the versatile apples are a good option to promote during the fall and winter, the release said.

Morning Kiss Organic said its organic pears are also available in 2-pound bags and bulk packaging, offered in 12 2-pound or 18 2-pound configurations. For bulk buyers, both full-size and half-size cartons are available, giving retailers maximum flexibility, the release said.

Retailers can also opt to include an organic band around each piece of fruit, which aims to make checkout easier while boosting organic sales.
