Copy editor and designer Amelia Freidline and staff writer Ashley Nickle discuss the produce age gap for bell peppers, which Fresh Trends research shows that millennials are significantly less likely to buy at retail than older generations.
According to Fresh Trends, 41% of millennials purchased bell peppers in the last 12 months, compared to 61% of shoppers between the ages of 40 and 49 and 71% of shoppers between the ages of 50 and 58.
Ashley and Amelia discuss their perspective on bell peppers and millennial-friendly (i.e. fast and simple) ways to use them.
