Lubbock, Texas-based United Supermarkets wraps up its 100th year in business in 2016, a year spent sharing with the community, from 100,000 pounds of apples to 100,000 cupcakes to 100 days this summer spent giving $1,000 a day to charities.
The company, started in Sayre, Okla., by H.D. Snell as United Cash now operates as the United Family under Albertsons.
