The Food and Drug Administration says Little Leaf Farms has voluntarily recalled a specific lot code of its Southwest Salad Kits due to the potential presence of undeclared fish and wheat allergens.

Little Leaf Farms produced the recalled product during a single run on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, which resulted in one pallet of 96 cases or 576 individual clamshells, according to the FDA. Little Leaf Farms said that fewer than 20 individual Southwest Salad Kits were incorrectly assembled during this run.

Little Leaf Farms distributed this product to retail stores including Ahold USA Freetown, Kilduff, Stew Leonard’s, Associated Grocers of New England, Shapiro Produce, and C&S Wholesale Grocers between Feb. 20-22 in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire, the FDA said.

The recalled product is identified as follows:

  • Product name — Southwest Salad Kit.
  • Lot number — 050011 as the first six digits (printed on the bottom left of the package).
  • Enjoy by date — March 8, 2025.
  • Package size — individual clamshell.
The FDA said the issue was identified after one consumer complaint noted incorrect ingredients; no injuries or illnesses have been reported.

Little Leaf Farms said affected retailers in its distribution network should remove existing products with the above-identified lot code from their shelves and warehouses.
