The Packer’s editor Tom Karst visits with Mike Mauti about his upcoming web June 19 seminar for Produce Market Guide called “Red, White and Boom.”
Mauti, managing partner of Toronto-based Execulytics Consulting will review the importance of the July 4 holiday for fresh produce sales in the U.S. and the July 1 Canada Day holiday.
Cherries, blueberries, watermelon, sweet corn, cantaloupes and green peppers will all be reviewed in-depth in the web seminar, he said.
Mauti will also be providing a snapshot of some of the key metrics surrounding these commodities, as well as presenting historical costing information and future costing for the weeks after the holiday.
