Fresh Summit New Product Preview — Salad Edition

Produce Retailer editor Ashley Nickle and The Packer's copy editor and designer Amelia Freidline check out four more product line extensions that will be showcased this week at Fresh Summit.

Growers Express sent over three of its Veggie Bowls under the Green Giant Fresh brand, the Burrito Bowl, Santa Fe Bowl, and Fried Rice Bowl. 

Ready Pac Foods, a brand owned by Bonduelle, submitted for review its new burger-inspired Slider Salad and sandwich-inspired Reuben Salad. The company also sent four salad SKUs marketed under the Bonduelle brand: the Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken, Apple Walnut Baby Greens Salad with Quinoa, Spanish Inspired Chef Salad with Smoked Ham, and Sonora Inspired Salad with Grilled Chicken.

FiveStar Gourmet — whose apple snack packs Amelia and Ashley reviewed in another segment — provided its Greek Inspired Caesar, Santa Fe Style, Gourmet Caprese and Chopped Wedge salads.
