Hollywood, Fla. — Farm Fresh Direct displayed its new organic potato kit Feb. 2 at the Global Organic Produce Expo.
The kits contain organic potatoes, organic olive oil and organic seasoning, said president and CEO Jamey Higham. Consumers can simply stick the potatoes in the microwave in their packaging, then add the oil and seasoning.
The kit launched two or three months ago and is available in two flavors: Zesty Southwest and Mediterranean Herb.
Monte Vista, Colo.-based Farm Fresh Direct has organic potatoes from mid-October through mid-April.
