Envy apples says it is spreading holiday cheer this season by teaming up with the Hallmark Channel and actor Andrew Walker for a festive celebration of the “sweetest moments of holiday entertaining.”
Part of the month-long Hallmark Christmas Experience held at Crown Center near Hallmark’s Kansas City, Mo. headquarters, the festivities highlight the spirit of the season, according to a news release. Envy apples hosted a pop-up at the Price Chopper in Liberty, Mo., offering visitors a chance to sample premium apples, enter prize drawings and meet Walker, a fan-favorite Hallmark Channel actor known for movies such as "My Christmas Family Tree" and "A Maple Valley Christmas."
During the second weekend of the Hallmark Christmas Experience, Walker was available to greet guests during the Envy sampling pop-up Dec. 9.
“Envy apples are a cherished part of my family’s holiday traditions,” Walker said.
Walker said Envy apples are his go-to ingredient for effortless holiday entertaining. One of his family’s favorite dishes is Wintery Envy Baked Brie — a blend of melted brie, cherry preserves, crushed pistachios and fresh slices of Envy apples to spoon up this sweet and savory delight.
