Driscoll’s of the Americas, a global, family-owned berry grower, has named Garland Reiter Jr. as its chief commercial officer.
Reiter will spearhead its revenue growth through sales strategy and execution, market expansion, customer development, marketing and business solutions, the company said in a news release.
Reiter started his career as a grower for Driscoll’s in Baja, Mexico, and later relocated to the Netherlands to lead product leadership and planning for Driscoll’s of Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2016, according to the release. The company said it promoted Reiter to vice president of global blueberry leadership, where he spearheaded its Southern Hemisphere business unit.
“Garland’s deep connection to our company's heritage, coupled with his experience and contagious energy, will undoubtedly contribute to Driscoll’s continued success,” Driscoll’s CEO Soren Bjorn said in the news release. “Garland has demonstrated he is fully committed to Driscoll’s mission, vision and values throughout his career.”
