It’s Cinco Delicioso time, as Avocados from Mexico inspires consumers to kick their guacamole consumption into gear as Cinco de Mayo approaches.
The group is partnering with Tabasco Sauce for the third year in a row, offering consumers savings on purchases and retailers colorful displays and in-store radio ads.
“We are so excited to be part of shoppers’ Cinco celebrations and bring the festivities to our retailers with the Cinco Delicioso program with impactful merchandising and a variety of pre-shop tactics," Maggie Bezart-Hall, vice president of trade and promotion for Avocados from Mexico, in a news release.
Cinco Delicioso runs from April 2 to May 5, and will be promoted with Avocados from Mexico/Tabasco brand ripening bags that include tips and recipes. In-store displays and ads will also grab shoppers’ attention, along with point-of-sale materials and fiesta banners.
Digital and tear-pad coupons will allow consumers to save $1 when they buy two avocados from Mexico and any size bottle of Tabasco Sauce, according to the release.
An online campaign will feature “AvoGuru Integration,” a Cinco-only Chatbot conversation branch, which prompts users with videos, recipes and coupons, according to the release.
