As part of its campaign, Chiquita will encourage fans to share bright and yellow moments with images and memories with the hashtag #HappyChiquitaDay, according to a news release.
Chiquita says it will hold a free event April 17 at The House of Arts in Wynwood, Fla. Planned festivities include live DJ performances, mural painting by a local artist and banana-themed food trucks featuring Chiquita bananas.
Plans also included interactive fitness sessions with fitness influencer Nikki DeLuca and dance classes with Justin Neto, known for his Dance is Energy social media posts, the release said. Registration will April 12 on Chiquita’s social media platforms.
“Our mission is to infuse every day with happy and healthy energy, mirroring the essence of our brand and our iconic Chiquita yellow,” Juliana Furlan, chief marketing officer for Chiquita North America, said in the release. “We're inviting everyone to join in, wear yellow and share in the joy that comes from a simple, yet powerful symbol of our brand!”
