Chicken-centric meal kits will soon be available from 150 Chick-fil-A locations.

The kits are being piloted in the Atlanta area from Aug. 27 to Nov. 17, with the various kits for sale on a rotating basis, according to a news release.

The five options in the Mealtime Kits line are chicken parmesan, chicken enchiladas, chicken flatbread, dijon chicken and pan-roasted chicken.

During the test window, two kits will be offered at a time. The kits serve two people and cost $15.89.

“We know our guests are busier than ever and need a variety of convenient dinner options,” Michael Patrick, an innovation program lead at Chick-fil-A, said in the release. “We’re excited to offer Mealtime Kits as a new way for us to serve our guests by providing fresh ingredients to enjoy a delicious meal at home.

“We designed our offering so our guests don’t have to order ahead, subscribe to a service or make an extra stop at the grocery store,” Patrick said. “They simply pick up a Mealtime Kit at one of our restaurants at their convenience — for example, when they’re already at a Chick-fil-A restaurant grabbing breakfast or lunch, or in the drive-thru on their way home.”

The kits include numerous produce items. The parmesan has broccolini and tomatoes, the enchiladas include onions and peppers, the dijon chicken comes with green beans, and the pan-roasted chicken comes with a kale and broccolini salad.

Feedback received during the test will help Chick-fil-A decide whether to make the meal kit program permanent.
