Austin, Texas-based Cece’s Veggie Co. will be sampling its Organic Butternut Shells & Cheese product at the United Fresh expo June 11-12.
The item is one of the finalists for a United Fresh Innovation Award in the Best New Vegetable Product category. Inspired by macaroni and cheese, the dish is gluten-free and ready to heat and eat, according to a news release.
The company calls Organic Butternut Shells & Cheese “a game-changer for busy families looking for healthy, organic meal solutions that taste delicious.”
Cece’s Veggie Co, formerly known as Veggie Noodle Co., also sells spiralized vegetable noodles, riced vegetables and other items.
The innovation award winners will be announced at 2 p.m. June 12 on the main stage on the expo floor.
Cece’s will be exhibiting at Booth No. 10015.
