Seventy-eight percent of households bought carrots in 2020, according to the 2020 year-in-review FreshFacts on Retail report from the United Fresh Produce Association. The carrot brought in more than $1.4 billion at retail last year, up 7.8% from 2019. Volume sales were up 9.5%.
