BrightFresh Microgreens, a grower of premium retail microgreens, says it has launched its Supergreens Micro Medley as an exclusive product available only at Costco.
The company said this one-of-a-kind blend will be sold at 43 Costco locations across Southern California. The Supergreens Micro Medley was created specifically for Costco customers and is packaged in 6-ounce containers and can be used as a salad base, as a topping for sandwiches and pasta, blended in smoothies, according to a news release.
The blend features a mixture of kale, broccoli, pea greens, cabbage, beets, mustards, spinach, tatsoi and arugula.
“We are thrilled to introduce our new Supergreens Micro Medley to Southern California Costco shoppers, designed with flavor, nutrition and value in mind,” Shelby Rodich, marketing manager at BrightFresh Microgreens, said in the release. “This product launch speaks to our mission to bring fresh, nutrient-packed microgreens to more people, and Costco is the ideal partner for that goal.”
The company said it holds almost 40% of the microgreens market share, according to SPINS data.
BrightFresh Microgreens said it will offer a special Supergreens Micro Medley for Southern California Costco stores.
