Associated Wholesale Grocers Inc. says it is partnering with Picadeli, an in-supermarket tech-enabled modular salad bar, to enhance fresh food options for consumers and boost the competitiveness of AWG member retailers.
Through Picadeli’s technology and AWG’s network, the collaboration seeks to enhance the shopping experience, increase customer satisfaction and, ultimately, increase the profitability of AWG member retailers by ensuring they can offer high-quality, convenient and healthy meal options that are affordable, according to a news release.

Picadeli and AWG said they are are committed to disrupting the conventional fast-food landscape by offering an alternative that aligns with modern consumer demands for healthier, more customizable meal options. The partnership aims to augment the fresh food offering at AWG members’ stores by providing convenient, healthy and sustainable salad bars, according to the release.
