Produce retailers are getting creative with collaborations, using the usual new-year health focus as a theme.
Throughout January, ultra-fast grocery delivery service Gorillas and anti-dieting nutrition app Wellory have partnered to make healthy eating easier for consumers with a new recipe series that's shoppable in the app.
Based in Berlin, Germany, with a New York City location, Gorillas offers grocery delivery in 10 minutes in certain locations. It's one of a growing list of services offering rapid-fulfillment delivery since the pandemic accelerated consumer demand for e-commerce.
Each Tuesday in January, starting today, the ingredients for a new Wellory recipe, crafted by one of Wellory's expert nutrition coaches, will drop on the Gorillas app.
Recipes include:
- Vegetable stir-fry noodles on Jan. 4;
- Zucchini lasagna rolls on Jan. 11;
- Lemon garlic fish on Jan. 18; and
- Greek chicken lettuce cups with avocado tzatziki on Jan. 25.
In addition to these recipes, the app will include behind-the-scenes content on social media, plus offers such as a Wellory discount for Gorillas users toward a 6-month membership.
