Following Wiers Farms’ initial recall of whole cucumbers due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, the Food and Drug Administration said Supreme Service Solutions and JFE Franchising voluntarily recalled products for purchase from Weirs Farms due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
Recalled produce from Supreme Service Solutions is packaged in clear-plastic grab-n-go containers of various sizes and was distributed in Kroger retail stores located in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri and Ohio, according to a recall notice. The items JFE Franchising recalled were sold in plastic clamshell containers and sold at select Kroger retail stores in Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia and Jay C Food retail stores in Indiana.
Retail packaged items include diced jalapeno, grilling vegetables, vegetable kabob, vegetable bowls, butternut squash cubes, chopped cilantro and more, according to a recall notice.
