Frieda’s Inc., Los Alamitos, Calif., plans to show off a three-tier display unit and dragon fruit March 3 at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure.
The unit’s bright colors and design help catch shoppers’ eyes, according to a news release.
“Produce managers tell us these displays are a definite traffic stopper,” Alex Jackson Berkley, assistant sales manager for Frieda’s, said in the release.
“Shoppers love to check out new produce being displayed on the unit.”
Frieda’s also plans to give show attendees samples of its red and white dragon fruit from Ecuador and Israel, according to the release.
The company has an almost year-round dragon fruit supply from the U.S., Nicaragua, Vietnam, Ecuador and Israel, according to the release.
