Grand Rapids, Mich.-based SpartanNash is offering free delivery on all online Fast Lane orders more than $35 starting Feb. 1.
“As part of SpartanNash’s mission to deliver the ingredients for a better life, we are pleased to offer quick and convenient home delivery for our guests who may be looking to avoid driving during wintry weather conditions or who want to stay safe at home during the pandemic,” SpartanNash Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Amy McClellan said in a news release.
Through Fast Lane, consumers can order from any grocery department for the same prices available in-store. Orders are fulfilled by SpartanNash personal shoppers, who communicate directly with guests by text messaging to determine preferences such as ripeness of fruit.
Learn more about all the fruits from A to Z.
These personal shoppers communicate about substitutions and out-of-stock products and ask consumers if they want to add any last-minute products to their order.
They are trained to select items with the latest expiration date and to inspect all products for integrity, according to the release.
The free home delivery promotion will be available for a limited time in February, with the discount included automatically at checkout.
Shoppers can visit shopthefastlane.com or use the mobile app for SpartanNash-owned grocery stores under the banners Family Fare, VG’s Grocery, Dan’s Supermarket, D&W Fresh Market and Forest Hills Foods.
SpartanNash has several divisions, including 145 company-owned supermarkets.
