David Peacock, former president of Anheuser-Busch is the new president and chief operating officer of St. Louis-based Schnuck Markets Inc.
“David's entrepreneurial spirit, vision and drive, along with his extensive business background will help us set a strong course for the future,” said Todd Schnuck, company chairman and CEO, in a news release. “His counsel and leadership on our company's Advisory Board have been instrumental in positioning Schnucks for growth. Further, his commitment to St. Louis and the region is aligned with Schnucks' commitment to superior customer experience and community support.”
Peacock's duties include managing procurement and merchandising operations, marketing and communications and supply chain for the 100-store company.
“This is a tremendous company and opportunity,” he said, in a news release. “Our teammates are focused on serving customers, delivering quality products and making Schnucks the best grocery shopping experience in the region.”
Peacock spent 20 years at St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch, where he held a variety of roles including financial management, mergers and acquisitions, and managed U.S. operations through the company's acquisition by InBev.
