PAMELA'S KITCHEN: The Mushroom Blend

I've been doing this for quite a while -- at least a year. 

Every Tuesday, like clockwork, I make tacos.  My kids watched The Lego Movie, and it seared a permanent spot in their brains that Tuesdays are for Tacos, and I'm like every mom out there -- I want to incorporate more fresh produce into our diets so I started using The Blend, something I heard about from The Mushroom Council. 

So, how do I do it?  Usually, it involves buying whole mushrooms, cleaning and chopping them by hand before I put them in my food processor. Then I whiz them up and cook before adding meat. 

No one noticed until I told them we were eating half beef, half mushrooms in our taco meat. There's a slight difference in texture, particularly in leftovers, my husband says. 

But, it works, and it's a healthier alternative. 

The only thing I'd like is for a fresh value-added option to save me time and clean-up with the meal prep. I someone working on a "Mushroom Blend" kit? Because I'd love one.
