In normal years, the Produce Marketing Association's Fresh Summit event presents the opportunity to explore dozens of innovative fruit and vegetable products being launched at the show. In many cases, samples are provided.
With a virtual showcase in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still wanted a chance to try out some of the new items coming available from produce marketers around the country.
Salinas, Calif.-based Church Brothers is debuting at Fresh Summit a new line of Ready Sides. The flavors include:
- Caramelized Onion and Bacon, a cauliflower dish;
- Homestyle Buttery Garlic, a broccoli dish;
- Savory Italian Herb, with broccoli, carrots and cauliflower; and
- Mediterranean Lemon Thyme, with broccoli and cauliflower.
