Mann Packing Co. Inc. is launching new products — three microwaveable dishes marketed as Veggie Sides, and Better Crunch Lettuce.
The items are now available at select retailers, according to a news release.
The Veggie Sides comes in three options: broccoli with lemon and herb sauce, cauliflower with parmesan pepper sauce, and sweet potatoes with a spicy brown sugar sauce.
The Veggie Sides microwave in three minutes. They are available now at select Save Mart Supermarkets, Kroger, Walmart, Meijer and Lucky stores across the country, according to the release.
The Better Crunch Lettuce can be used in salads, sandwiches, as a scoop, a wrap, boat or on the grill, according to Mann Packing. The lettuce has the crunch of iceberg lettuce and the color, sweetness and shape of romaine. It is available at select Walmart stores.
The company plans to expand availability to other retailers. Suggested retail prices are $3.49-$3.99.
