Lucky’s Market has named Tim Overlie to director of local.
Overlie joined Lucky’s in 2011 as regional director of operations. Before that, he worked for several natural foods grocers, including Alfalfa’s Market and Wild Oats Markets.
In his new role at Lucky’s, he is responsible for increasing local products in all departments at the company’s 28 stores, according to a news release.
“Stocking our stores with locally grown produce and locally produced items is the best way to connect with our communities and neighbors, support the local economy and promote sustainability,” Overlie said in the release.
Lucky’s Market stores carry hundreds of stock-keeping units of locally produced items, according to the release.
