Look Back: Elizabeth Pivonka's PBH tenure

by Pamela Riemenschneider, Feb 22, 2017

Elizabeth Pivonka, president and CEO of the Produce for Better Health Foundation, plans to retire effective February 28. Pivonka, who started with the group when it was founded in 1991, has been its president for the past 20 years.

“It has truly been my great honor and privilege to serve on the PBH staff,” Pivonka says. “As a dietitian and scientist, it's the best job I could have had because no other food group can say more matters. As a farmer's granddaughter, it's the best job I could have had because I got to work with those who grow and sell these healthy foods. I thank the industry for the opportunity to serve you, to learn from you, and for your support and friendship these past 27 years.”

Take a look back at the Pivonka's tenure with PBH. We wish her well.
