Three multi-state retailers announced expansions of their Instacart coverage this week, and it's only Wednesday.

The San Francisco-based company is booming in the wake of Amazon's acquisition of Whole Foods Market Inc., and says it has relationships with eight of the largest grocers in America.

The latest market expansions are with retailers the company already had relationships with – Aldi, Kroger and BJ's Wholesale.

Cincinnati-based Kroger Co. now offers home delivery in 45 markets through Instacart and other partners in the following divisions: Atlanta; Central; Cincinnati; Columbus; Dallas; Dillons; Fred Meyer; Fry's; Harris Teeter; Houston; King Soopers; Louisville; Mariano's; Metro Market; Michigan; Mid-Atlantic; Nashville; Pic n' Save; Ralphs; QFC; and Smith's, according to a news release.

Westborough, Mass.-based BJ's, which has worked with Instacart since 2014, announced same-day delivery in cities along the east coast on March 13, according to a news release.

“The expanded partnership with Instacart gives members a new and easy way to shop the club without leaving their home,” said Rafeh Masood, senior vice president and chief digital officer, in a news release.
