Good Foods, Pleasant Prairie, Wis., is again tackling hunger, with a college football-themed promotion to raise money for Brighter Bites.

The plant- based dips and dressings company is launching its Sack Hunger program for another football season. During the 2020 season, Good Foods has pledged to donate to Brighter Bites every time the Arkansas Razorbacks, Minnesota Gophers and Wisconsin Badgers sack their opponents’ quarterbacks.

“Brighter Bites perfectly aligns with our mission and values as a family-owned business to encourage and create accessibility of good food for people in need,” Heather Penn, Good Foods’ charitable board chairwoman, said in a news release.

The campaign is overseen by Learfield IMG College, which oversees multi-media rights for athletics at the three universities, according to the release. The campaign will be promoted during game radio broadcasts, through social media messaging and at the stadiums.

Good Foods offered the Sack Hunger program for the first time in 2019.
